The successful candidate will work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, develop comprehensive solutions, and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients. This role requires a strong understanding of ELV systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and objectives.
Conduct thorough technical assessments and site surveys to gather requirements for ELV projects.
Study defined customer requirement or tender documents including drawings, project specification, BOQ, scope of work, contract's technical details and conditions.
Design customized ELV solutions that align with customer requirements and industry standards.
Develop detailed proposals, including technical specifications, diagrams, BOM and cost estimates.
Present technical solutions to clients in a clear and compelling manner, addressing their concerns and questions effectively.
Act as a subject matter expert on ELV systems, providing guidance and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to ELV systems.
Work closely with vendors and partners to evaluate new products and technologies for inclusion in solution designs.
Collaborate with project management teams to transition presales activities to the implementation phase smoothly.
Support the sales team in preparing and delivering technical demonstrations and workshops for prospective clients.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Proven UAE experience in presales engineering at least for 3 years in the ELV industry.
Strong knowledge of ELV systems, including but not limited to: structured cabling, networking, CCTV, access control, audiovisual systems, gate barriers, turnstiles, and telephony.
Knowledge related to Building Management Systems or Parking Management Systems are a plus.
Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
